Simple Guacamole Recipe

Guacamole, A simple dip made from Avocados. This Recipe is so simple to make but yet so delicious, It goes great with a tasty Mexican dish it takes about 5-10 minutes, all you really need is some nice ripe avocados, a little lime or even lemon juice, a little seasoning of your choice – ( I prefer Cumin) chopped cilantro, onion, Jalapenos I tend to leave this ingredient out as my little guy loves to eat everything I eat and I have made the mistake a few times of letting him eat my hot salsas….Oh  and tomato if you’d like!

So… if you’re looking for a great simple 5 minute guacamole recipe to make, look no further!

Easy Crock Pot Stew

I love being able to throw something in my crock pot in the morning before heading out the door, and coming home to being ready to eat! This recipe took me about 10 min, all i had to do was cut up my potatoes, onion, and celery. Seriously it doesn’t get any easier then that! Especially with having a busy toddler on the loose, there isn’t a heck of a lot of time to get stuff done. I’m envious of all you Mommas out there that have a 2nd child so close in age!
I’m a sucker for a good deal, who isn’t? One of my favorite grocery stores to shop at is Aldi, I seriously can fill my entire cart up for less than $100.oo, That is what I can fit in my cart with my son standing in there, stepping on every thing I put in. Haha! Its quite the experience when we make our grocery trips! Anyways, I picked up this pork center cut from Aldi for less than 5 bucks! I definitely bought a few of them for that price!
This literally took me 10 min, now I just set it and forget it! I set my crockpot on low for 8 hours. but you certainly can set it on high for 4 to 5 hours as well!

Baby shower “Thank You’s” Sugar Scrub Recipe

Good Evening All!

baby shower1

So for our baby shower we did a co-ed themed BBQ, It was absolutely perfect, We invited both sides of our families and it was definitely a party! I wanted to do something a little different when it came to the Thank You gifts for everyone. I really love the (ball) mason jars, so I bought about 40 of those to start with. For the tags I bought blue construction paper, printed thank you on it and cut out small babies feet in the corner. Next we just needed to figure out what to put in the jars! We decided on Sugar Scrubs. They were such a unique and different gift for a baby shower. I love it! You can mix and match your sugar scrubs up with a lot of different ingredients.

Here are a few photos from our baby shower
